How much disruption will there be on site?

All work on site is project managed to ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum. You may see our team when we make the off site connection and while we install on your floor, but that's it.

Once this and the installation to your apartment are completed, you won't know we are on site.

The benefits and long term gain for you are far greater than the short term disruption.

How long will the installation take in my apartment?

On average we'll need about a day and half to complete the installation. We may need half a day more or less depending on the size of your property.

All dates and work will be agreed with you in advance.

Water leaks are a common problem at my development. Is it safe to put more water infrastructure in our building?

Absolutely.  Our infrastructure works on a return flow basis. This means the water distributed out comes back to be re-heated. In the unlikely event there is a leak, the system will shut down and our equipment on site will let us know. We will come to site immediately to repair any damage and ensure operation is resumed.

Why do I need a supplier for my heating and hot water?

Heating and hot water in apartments mostly are powered by electric. Switching to a communal system removes the need for electric. Therefore you will need an individual supplier for your heat and hot water. We will undertake this role as your energy supplier.

Are you more expensive than my current electric supplier?

We highly doubt it! Our tariff offers a long term price undertaking to compete with the Big 6 energy suppliers. Plus there's no standing charge!

Our bills will be uncomplicated and easy to understand.

Talk to us before you sign up to find out more.

How am I billed?

Each property will have it's own meter installed. This means you will only be billed for the energy you use.

If you are a landlord, we will bill the tenant directly.

If my neighbour does not want to sign up will that stop me having a new system installed?

No, hopefully we can still install for you.

Our survey will establish how many apartments out of the total building need to sign up to make the upgrade possible at nil cost. We won't need every apartment to sign up.

What will you charge me if I sign up?

Our system is installed at no cost to you, you only pay for the energy you use.

If you want to make any upgrades to designer radiators, you are free to do so but will need to pay the difference in cost.

Is it possible to choose the style of radiator for my apartment?

Yes. As standard we provide two nil cost options. If you would like to upgrade from our catalogue or even choose your own to suit each room, you are free to do so. We will help you select the right size radiators to ensure your apartment is heated properly.

I am a director at a development. I can see how the install would be a benefit to my block. However, I have already paid to upgrade my electric heaters as the old ones were not fit for purpose. Can you offer me any compensation to sign up?

Yes. We understand that due to the age of some apartments, property owners may have already installed new electric heaters. In this case, we can offer a cashback or voucher incentive to sign up. The amount will vary depending on the type of heater being removed.

How can I monitor my heating and hot water costs?

We'll provide you with a Smart Meter as standard. You will be able to access your account to see how much energy you are using. Our readings are submitted automatically bringing an end to estimated bills.

As an energy supplier, we are responsible for supplying and fitting meters. We abide by the rules and regulations set out in the Code of Practice (SMICOP), including making sure people know how meters work and how to control their data. We ensure that our meters meet government standards – the Smart Metering Technical Standards (SMETS).

What repairs will I have to make to my apartment after installation?

None!

Prior to installation, we will agree a bespoke design and method of installation for your apartment. Once you have singed up, we will install and make good any repairs necessary.

Where will the plant room located located on site?

We will agree a location for  with your board of directors/residents committee and property manager. The boiler will be neatly housed to suit the design of the development so it doesn't look out of place.

How big is the equipment on site?

Our equipment on site will vary depending on the size of the development and it's layout. We will be able to give exact details of the size and suitable locations following an initial survey. Your property manager or committee/board of directors can request this at anytime.

Will the property manager need to insure the equipment on site?

No.

We fully insure and maintain all equipment and pipework leading to each property. All certificates and insurance policies will be provided to the property manager.
